For two decades, Schaffhausen native Marco Kern lived the life of an elite competitor, capturing six Swiss championship titles, representing Switzerland internationally ten times, and racing in the World University Games final in Kazan. Today, he channels that high-performance drive into ARC, balancing elite-level programming with the welcoming spirit of a community leader.

A well-connected figure in Swiss sports association, Marco previously captained the adidas Runners Zurich community and co-founded the Schaffhausen-based running company, Runaissance. Outside work and the track, he enjoys life in Schaffhausen with his partner and their son.

Vago has spent his life in sport. It started in childhood with martial arts — American Kenpo and kickboxing — then moved to the gym, swimming and running. In 2012 he found CrossFit, and it's shaped how he trains ever since.

In 2019 he co-founded a successful CrossFit gym in London. That's where he learned what it really takes to build a place that lasts: sharp programming, high standards, and above all, community. He has coached functional fitness since 2017 and is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer.

At ARC, Vago leads strategy, growth, and operations — channelling everything he's learned into an athletic club built on real coaching and an uncompromising standard. Vago lives in Feuerthalen with his wife and kids. When he's not working, training, or coaching, you'll find him by the Rhine.

Mél has loved sport since childhood. In 2002 she moved to Schaffhausen to play libero for VC Kanti Schaffhausen in Switzerland's top volleyball league (NLA). A trained sports teacher specialising in athletic performance, she founded her own practice for performance, rehabilitation and health in 2009, alongside her playing career. Since 2019 she has led athletic performance for women's football at the Swiss Football Association.

She has competed at three European Championships, one as a player and two as a performance coach, plus a World Championship. Her holistic approach and expertise in women's health help athletes of every age and level develop for the long term, which is exactly what ARC stands for. Mél lives in Löhningen with her husband and their son.

Enrico has been among Switzerland's top track and field athletes for years. As a member of the Swiss national team, he has represented Switzerland at several World and European Championships as well as at international Diamond League meetings. He has won 23 medals at Swiss Championships, was part of a Swiss record-setting relay team, and holds all Schaffhausen cantonal records in the sprint events and the long jump.

As a founding partner of ARC, Enrico leads Brand & Athlete Relations. As an active elite athlete, he embodies ARC's performance culture and brings his experience, credibility and network to building the brand. He represents ARC externally, develops relationships with athletes and partners, and connects elite sport, business and community.
