03 Low Impact Training & Recovery

Yoga at ARC

Two mornings a week we slow everything down. Breath, attention, and movement — the foundation that makes the rest of your training possible.

Why we practice

At ARC nothing trains in isolation. Yoga is where the intensity of the other pillars becomes sustainable.

Strength work builds tension. Running builds output. Yoga gives back the range of motion, the breath control and the nervous-system downshift that let the body absorb that load instead of accumulating it.

Movement
The practice is quiet, but it isn't passive. Slow, controlled movement opens the joints and connective tissue that hard training compresses.
Breath
Breath work trains the same nervous system you rely on under a barbell or in the last kilometre.
Attention
The discipline of staying with one sensation at a time carries into every session you do here.

Train hard. Recover deliberately. Come back better.

Yoga is the foundation the rest of the ecosystem stands on.
